Here you can run advanced searches across all available toxin information. Start by choosing a field to search across in the drop down list
titled please choose. Within this list you will see search field categories, for example main toxin information, and source species taxonomy.
Once you have chosen a search field, where possible, ArachnoServer will populate a list of available search terms. Where this is not possible,
enter a search term into the text field. All search terms may be negated using like or not like, or is and is not. Numeric fields can be searched
using a range of values.
Multiple search clauses can be added. To add another clause press the + button at the end of the previous clause. To remove a search clause,
press the - button. At any stage during the search query design, you may add or remove search clauses.
If multiple search clauses have been added, these may be grouped as required
by using the radio button panel at the end of the search clause (titled
grouping). Join the grouped clauses using boolean operators and, or, and but not. Selecting all grouping buttons in alignment with each other will group all those clauses together. The grouping boolean term
used appears at the start of the next search clause.
An asterisk (*) next to a spider species name or spider common name, indicates that this species has been assigned a photo and is visible from the toxin card page.
Search results will be displayed in a paginated results table. Results may be exported in either XML or PDF formats.
FASTA sequences from search results may also be exported using the form at the bottom of the results table.
